Hair chalk is the new way of colouring your hair without the commitment. I am always fascinated with the different hair colours girls can rock and I wonder how they maintain the vibrancy. Now, you could do the same without having to spend so much money.
I was introduced to HairChalk.co a few weeks ago and they reached out to me to review their products. And of course, I was totally down for it because I've been wanting to use hair chalk for so long. Here are the sets they sent me:

I created a paste or mixture with water and half of the lilac chalk from the BOHO Salmon Lilac Ombre Set. I then used a foundation brush, the one that looks like a paint brush, to apply on her dry hair. After that, I used the other half and wet the chalk using what was left with the mixture and dragged it on her hair. This part may be silly but its necessary. I mean it worked! Anyways, I put her hair in a low bun and wrapped it in plastic to dry. Once its dry, comb out your hair as careful as possible since it dries back into a powdery form. Don't forget to spray on hair spray, the flexible hold kind, to lock in the colour.
We applied this at night and left it until the morning. Mind you, we are just experimenting since the method I used didn't work so you don't have to do what we did here. Anyhow, here are the finished results!
My thoughts? If you're a hair junkie unlike me, this would be easy to apply and fun to do! If you're like me who doesn't know anything about hair, it would take a bit more time and experimentation. I can't really compare it to other brands since I've never used hair chalk before. I would say that this is a great product for those who don't want to spend so much! You just need the patience and a lot of time to do this. Also, it would still stain on your shirt even if its dry and sprayed on with hair spray. The colour will of course transfer on your hand if you touch your hair since like I said earlier, it dries into a powder form. Nevertheless, its still a fun thing to do mostly during the summer time!
